FinishedThe Photo Review’s is “a competition with a difference” that enables thousands of people across the country to see the accepted work in our 2008 competition issue. Also, the prize-winning photographers will be chosen for an exhibition at the photography gallery of The University of the Arts, Philadelphia.
Awards include a Microtek ArtixScan M1 Dual Media Scanner ($650), SilverFast HDR Studio digital camera RAW conversion software from LaserSoft Imaging ($499), a Lensbaby 3G Lens and Wide Angle / Telephoto Kit ($359), a $250 gift certificate from Calumet Photographic, a $250 gift certificate for Museo Fine Art Paper, Lowepro camera bags ($200 and $100), two $50 gift certificates from Sprint Systems, and $250 in cash prizes.

All photographs, black and white, color, non-silver, computer-manipulated, etc., are eligible. (Reproductions will be in black and white with original process noted.) Submit slides or unmatted, unframed prints up to 16″x20″, or files on CD. (Prints larger than 16″x20″ may be submitted in a reduced size; original size will be noted.)
Name and title or identifying labels must be attached to the back, upper lefthand corner of each print. Slides must be labeled on the front (the side away from the screen) with name, title, and an arrow indicating top. CDs must be labeled on the case and on the disk with your name. Images on the CD should be provided in two sizes: a folder labeled “JPEGs” should contain images saved as JPEGs at medium compression at 72 dpi by 900 pixels in the longest dimension for viewing; a folder labeled “TIFFs” should contain TIFF files at 400 dpi by 1800 pixels in the longest dimension for reproduction. Label each file with your last name, first initial, and number that corresponds to your entry card (e.g. WestonE1).
