- Copyright: All applicants must agree that their LUMIX projects will be shown as exhibitions, on monitors in digital presentations, and on the website of the LUMIX Festival for Young Visual Journalism. Furthermore, applicants must agree that individual images, photos, picture series or other elements from the selected projects may be used by the event organizers, free of charge, for reports on the festival (particularly on the festival website: www.fotofestival-hannover.de), for advertising the festival, for any previews or reviews in other exhibitions and for journalistic use, including on social media platforms that are connected with the festival

- FREELENS Award – 10,000 euros
- LUMIX Digital Storytelling Award – 5,000 euros
Image requirements: 2 to 30 images per project; JPG format; At least 3000px on the long edge
