Experts predict that by the end of the 21st century, two-thirds of the world’s population will live in large cities and metropolises. The SCAN festival invites artists who use photography as a tool or means of expression to explore the consequences of urban population growth and large cities. The works can examine the issue from a broad variety of perspectives: social, historical, cultural, personal, media, urban planning, ecological, religious, etc.

The Exhibition will be held at Tinglado 2 at the Port of Tarragona from 18 October to 8 December 2024

Online submission of digital images via the website.

Image requirements: A zip file (max. 25 MB) with a maximum of 18 photographs
from the same series. The digital photographs must be a minimum of 1,500 pixels on the shortest side, must be in .jpg format and must have an embedded Adobe RGB (1998) or sRGB colour profile.
