• Copyright: YOU WILL RETAIN COPYRIGHT TO SUBMITTED PHOTOS. By submitting an entry, you will not grant the Organisers the right to use or sell your photo, except for promotional and exhibition purposes as noted below.
• Entry fee: From $10 for one image; $60 for a series of 3-9 images

Prizes:

• Best Street Photograph
  • 1st Prize: $1000, a feature story about you and your winning photo in APF magazine, a subscription to APF Magazine, one copy of the StreetFoto San Francisco 2016 book, and international recognition.
  • 2nd and 3rd Prizes: A subscription to APF Magazine, one copy of the StreetFoto San Francisco 2016 book and international recognition.
• Best Street Photograph Series (a series of 3 to 9 street photographs that share a common theme or narrative)
  • 1st Prize: $750, a feature story about you and your winning photo in APF magazine, a subscription to APF Magazine, one copy of the StreetFoto San Francisco 2016 book, and international recognition.
  • 2nd and 3rd Prizes: A subscription to APF Magazine, one copy of the StreetFoto San Francisco 2016 book and international recognition.
• Best Mobile Street Photograph
  • 1st Prize: $500, a feature story about you and your winning photo in APF magazine, a subscription to APF Magazine, one copy of the StreetFoto San Francisco 2016 book, and international recognition.
  • 2nd and 3rd Prizes: A subscription to APF Magazine, one copy of the StreetFoto San Francisco 2016 book and international recognition.

Image requirements: Entries may not be heavily “photoshopped” or digitally manipulated beyond commonly accepted darkroom techniques. Allowable adjustments include things like modest cropping, adjusting exposure, contrast, and saturation, noise reduction, and conversion from color to black and white. Disallowed manipulations would include moving, adding, or subtracting elements of of an image to create a scene that did not exist at the time the photograph was made. No watermarks, borders or signatures. JPG format; Contest finalists will be asked to send a high resolution jpg. file (250-300dpi) of any image chosen as a finalist.

There is no limit to the number of photos an entrant may submit. Online submission of digital photographs via the website.
