  • Straight Photography/Lightly Manipulated
    Defined as generally straight photography with minimal or no graphics software enhancement. This category will be judged by Dr. Anthony Bannon, Director, George Eastman House.
  • Photo Illustration/Manipulated
    Applies to images having undergone significant graphics software manipulation (special effects, composites, etc.). This category will be judged by renowned photographer John Paul Caponigro.

Prizes:

Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Lightroom 2. More prizes are listed on the web site.

Selected images will appear on the covers and inside pages of  After Capture magazine and Rangefinder Magazine.

Entries must be submitted in JPEG (.jpg) format. Please size your submissions to dimensions no greater than 1500 pixels in width or 1500 pixels in depth. Underscores and dashes are acceptable (e.g., mywinningEntry.jpg or my_winning_Entry_01.jpg). Do not use spaces or unusual characters as this may disrupt the uploading process.

High resolution versions of first place winning Entries (300 dpi and at least 9 inches in either width or depth) must also be made available upon request for inclusion on the cover of After Capture magazine and Rangefinder Magazine.
