Photocompete

• Copyright: You grant 1650 gallery the right to use accepted photographs to promote the exhibition, for display on the 1650 Gallery website and for inclusion in an exhibit catalog. The artist's name and photo title will be included in the exhibition, and wherever the work is displayed.
• Entry fee: $35 for up to 5 images. Additional entries may be submitted for $5 each.
• Entry deadline: 14th August 2016
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide.

Theme: THE SEA: ABOVE AND BELOW

This month 1650 hits the oceans high and low as we tackle both the underwater and above water aspects of the mighty waters of the sea. Whether you prefer to shoot sandy beaches or coral reefs below the surface, seascapes with waves crashing on rocks or schools of fish hurrying through the salty waters below; 1650 has got you covered with the sea of possibility as we go… ABOVE AND BELOW: THE SEA!

Award:

• Approximately 50 works will be chosen from submitted photographs to be shown in the LIGHT & SHADOW group exhibition at 1650 Gallery in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Juror: Andrew Overtoom

Image requirements: JPG format; 72 ppi, image width up to 1024 pixels on the longest side.

Online submission of digital images. All accepted entries must submit a high res jpegs to be included in the printed catalog.
