• Copyright: All application images and stories submitted to ArtAscent remain the property of the artist and the artist retains the copyright. Applicants agree that ArtAscent may feature their submitted entry for display, marketing, promotions, and exhibition archives worldwide and for all time.

• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide.

Theme: Emotion fills, lifts, erupts, freezes, floods, and empties us. Are we emotions, or are feelings simply impulses that appear and disappear from our consciousness? Does emotion take us to a higher plane of existence or simply along a preprogrammed path? What are we without these feelings? How do we express them? Are they contagious? What in our environment triggers them? Share your interpretation of what is or inspires EMOTION.

The Gold, Silver and Bronze artists will be featured in the ArtAscent Art & Literature Journal complete with artist profile reviews written by our art writer. From 20 to 30 artists in total will be published in ArtAscent Art & Literature Journal including links to artists websites, promotion on ArtAscent website artist directory, and exposure in ArtAscent social media.

Image requirements: 1500 pixels minimum on any side; Jpg or PDF format; Max. size of each file: 7MB
