School Days Photo Contest
The first day of school picture is a time-honored tradition. Grinning (or pouting) children wait for the bus or pose with their sibling sporting new backpacks and lunch boxes. The phrase ‘school time’ conjures memories of childhood, but parents and teachers have their own visual associations beyond the posed portrait. From supplies and blackboards to sports and social events; whether constructed or documented, for this online exhibition, Don’t Take Pictures seeks photographs from or about school days.
- For this exhibition, up to 50 photographs along with the photographer’s name, location, and website will be published online from November 20 — February 18.
Online submission of digital photographs by email. You may enter up to 3 images.
Image requirements: 72 dpi; sRGB; JPEG format; no less than 1024 pixels and no more than 1500 pixels on the longest side.
