• Copyright: Artist retains all copyrights to their own images. Artists whose photographs are accepted for exhibition grant Praxis Gallery the nonexclusive right to use and reproduce submitted photographs for the purpose of promoting the exhibition, promoting the artist, promoting related programs and subsequent display on Praxis Gallery's website, social media and online exhibition archives. The artist's name and photo title will be included wherever the photographs are displayed.
• Entry fee: $35.00 for the first 5 images, $5.00 for each additional image up to 10
• Entry deadline: 30th September 2019
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide, 18+

Theme: “”AFTER DARK”

Praxis Gallery seeks the submission of photographic works that explore the fundamental qualities that make night photography – from dusk to dawn – a compelling contemporary art form. All subjects (people, places and things), genres, capture types, color, black & white, traditional and non-traditional photographic and digital post-production processes are welcome for submission.

Awards:

• Thirty images will be selected by the juror for exhibition at Praxis Gallery (Exhibition Dates: Nov 22 – Dec 22, 2019).
• A Juror’s Choice award, two Honorable Mentions and a Directors Choice award [for the most cohesive and compelling series of images submitted] will be awarded and featured in the exhibition, the printed show catalog and the online show gallery.

Image requirements: JPG format; 72 dpi; 1024 pixels or less on longest side; 4MB or less in file size.  Selected photographers will receive instructions on uploading hi-res files to our online submission site.
