• Copyright: Photographers retain all rights to their work, except for submissions accepted for exhibition: artists grant Vermont Photo Space the right to use their images to promote the exhibition and for display on VPS website and for inclusion in an exhibit catalog.
• Entry fee: Up to four images may be submitted for a fee of $24 for four images. Additional images may be submitted for $5 US per image.
• Entry deadline: 23rd August 2018
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide.

Awards:

• All selected entries are exhibited in the gallery [20 Sept – 31 Oct 2018] and included in a full color exhibit catalog.
• Juror’s Choice receives a 30×48 vinyl exhibit banner featuring their image, free entry into a future exhibition, a free exhibition catalog;
• Honorable Mentions receive free exhibition catalogs and free entry in a future exhibition.

Theme: Trees

For this exhibition we’re extending the challenge to you to photograph a tree, or thousands of trees, in your own unique vision. Do you see the joy of green and vigorous trees providing summer shade, a lonely oak or maple bare of leaves and enduring a harsh northern winter, or the tragedy (or profit) in the harvest of trees for wood products or paper?  Here in Vermont we enjoy an annual autumn spectacular, the changing of the landscape from green to vivid shades of yellow, red, and orange. How do the trees in your part of the world change through the seasons and through their life spans?

This exhibition’s juror will privately critique up to 10 images.

Image requirements: no larger than 1280 pixels on the longest side, jpg format; saved at the highest quality; sRGB color space.
