• Copyright: You will retain all rights to any photograph you submit, including ownership if applicable. If your image is selected as a winner in the competition, you grant Santa Fe Photographic Workshops a nonexclusive right to use, in connection with the current and any future Photo Contest, your image on partner and third party promotions and publications.
• Entry fee: $30 for 3 images; $5 for each additional image over 3
• Entry deadline: 15th January 2018
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide.

Whether it’s a public holiday or a private victory, a national triumph or an individual milestone, there are as many ways to celebrate as there are reasons to rejoice. This holiday season, share with us the moments you’ve captured. Big or small, show us what you choose to celebrate and why.

Prizes:

• Grand Prize: Workshop of your choice in Santa Fe (tuition and fees; does not include lodging or airfare)
• First Prize: $1,000 gift certificate, good for any Santa Fe Workshops workshop or expedition
• Second Prize: $750 gift certificate, good for any Santa Fe Workshops workshop or expedition
• Third Prize: $500 gift certificate, good for any Santa Fe Workshops workshop or expedition

There is no limit to the number of submissions per entrant.

Image requirements: 72 ppi resolution; 1,280 pixels on the longest side; sRGB or RGB color space (standard) with layers flattened; 8 bit mode; JPG format with compression at level 7 (at minimum); less than 3MB total size

Judging criteria: originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit.
