• Copyright: The copyright in all images submitted remains at all times with the photographers. GMC Publications, Outdoor Photography and the sponsor will require the rights to use the submitted images in direct association with the promotion and reporting of the competition and within the Outdoor Photographer of the Year book or other competition associated products, if selected.

You can enter as many categories as you like, but each entrant is limited to eight images per category per entry fee – you can enter a category more than once if you wish to submit more than eight images to a category.

Online submission of digital photographs via the website.

Image requirements: JPEG format; a compression quality of between 8 and 10 (between 75 and 85 when using Adobe Lightroom). The image should be sized between 2100 pixels and 2700 pixels on its longest side at 300ppi.
