Roots and Branches Photo Competition
Enter images of trees as symbols of places and ideas; be it a Japanese bonsai tree, the redwoods of California, or tropical palms. We plant trees in memorial for those who have passed for their strength and longevity. Trees embody the fortitude of nature as well as the forest primeval. From twisted roots that push through concrete sidewalks, to manicured branches in yards and city parks, to overgrown woodlands, Don’t Take Pictures seeks photographs of trees both wild and tame, and our interactions with them.
For this exhibition, up to 50 photographs along with the photographer’s name, location, and website will be published online from November 25 – February 23.
Image requirements: 72 dpi; sRGB; JPEG format; No less than 1024 pixels and no more than 1500 pixels on the longest side.
Submission of digital photographs by email, up to 3 images per entrant.
