Announcing the fourth annual call for submissions to all photographers. This is an opportunity to exhibit your work for one month at ViewPoint Gallery, the only photography gallery in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
The competition is open to all subject matter. Twelve winning images will be selected from the digital entries. A panel of professional photographers selected by ViewPoint Gallery will jury submissions.. One winner will be exhibited monthly. These images will be professionally printed, framed, exhibited and offered for sale by ViewPoint Gallery starting in June, 2015. In addition, winners will have their work publicized by the gallery with media/press releases submitted to all major Halifax publicity streams.
Prizes:
- First prize: $150 Printing Credit from Blurb Photo Books.
- Second prize: $100 credit from Blurb Photo Books.
- Third prize: $50 credit from Blurb Photo Books.
Image requirements: 1200 pixels on the long side; sRGB colour space; jpeg only. If your image is accepted as one of the twelve winners, you will be notified and be required to provide a full resolution file for printing.
