• Copyright: You give permission for your photo to be used for promotion in relation to the competition and the Arboretum. Credit will be given to the photographer if the photo is used in promotional materials or merchandise.
• Entry fee: Free
• Entry deadline: 30th January 2015
• Who can enter: Open to amateur photographers of any age from Australia

An annual competition to showcase the wonderful sights at the National Arboretum Canberra including:

• People enjoying the Arboretum grounds and facilities
• Biological aspects of the Arboretum including the flora and fauna
• The patterns in the Arboretum’s landscape design and in nature.

The goal is to gather exciting and innovative images to promote the Arboretum regionally, nationally and internationally.

Prizes:

1. 12 years and under – First prize $500. Runner up $250.
2. High school/college students – First prize $500. Runner up $250.
3. Adult – First prize $1,000. Runner up $500.

Image requirements: jpg or tiff format; minimum of 2550×3300 pixels. Maximum size is 5MB

Limit of 2 images per person. Submission of digital photographs by email or by post on CD/DVD
