The Enigmatic Object Photography Exhibition

This is an open call for photographic and time-based works that entertain the uncanny and unpredictable proclivities in inert things. The jurors welcome interpretive responses of all kinds. They are particularly interested in responses that consider one of more of the following:

  • relations between nonhuman bodies
  • human and nonhuman interventions in landscapes and architecture
  • specific, designated moments in temporal, economic, and historical narratives and realities

Filter’s 7th juried exhibition,to be held at Johalla Projects, a gallery located in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood (March 7 – March 28)

Entrants will be informed of the juror’s decision in mid-February.

Image requirements: JPEGs and sized at 72 dpi and 700 pixels for the longest side.

Online submission of digital photographs via the website. You can enter up to six images.
