• Copyright: Participants grant Magnum Photos and its Competition Partners an irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide royalty-free license to reproduce, publicly display, distribute, publicly perform and create derivative works from their Submitted Materials, solely in connection with the administration, judging and promotion of the Magnum Expression Award
• Entry fee: Free
• Entry deadline: 28th February 2013
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, 18+ years of age, worldwide.

Theme: Documentary photography

You may submit a maximum of 9 images to illustrate a single photographic essay.

Prizes:

• The Winner will receive: Mentorship from a Magnum Jury photographer. A publishing contract for the completed project for a production of books, sponsored by My Premium Book (to the value of $3,000) as well as $3,000 of support to engage a book designer to design the book (to a combined total value of $6,000). A Photoshelter Pro account with 100GB storage and customizable website, for one year.
• Two honorable mentions will receive: A publishing opportunity with $1,000 towards producing the book. A Photoshelter Basic account with 10GB storage for one year.
