Photocompete

• Copyright: Contestants retain ownership of and all copyright and other intellectual property rights for their photographs. The Organiser retains the right to reproduce photographs for non-commercial purposes, like promotion of contestants and the contest itself (PhotoCITY); names of the authors will be mentioned.
• Entry fee: Free
• Entry deadline: 5th February 2013
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide.

Theme: Beginning

The contestants are invited to document and interpret their own vision of the foregiven photography theme. The theme is inspired by the Mayan »End of the World« prophecy, and the beginning of the new cycle, i.e. the New Year.

Prizes:

• 1. First Prize:
  • a) A weekend for two in Sol Hotel Umag (award for best Photography);
  • b) solo exhibition at the gallery ‘Placa’, Sv. Lovrec, HR (award for photo-collection)
• 2. Nikon photo camera
• 3. 100 Euros in cash or cheque
• 4. Back up travel drive storage 1TB
• 5. A dinner for two at tavern and pizzeria »San Lorenzo«, Sveti Lovrec
• 6. A collection of fine wines

You may submit up to 3 single photographs of various motifs, or a photo-collection of 3 combined photographs. Online submission of digital photographs via the website or by email.

Image requirements: JPG format; 3000 pixels max. on the longer dimension, and 2000 pixels max. for the shorter dimension; the resolution 300 dpi; up to 15 Mb in file size. No logos or watermarks.
