• Copyright: Artists who are accepted grant Mpls Photo Center the right to use their images for the purpose of marketing of the exhibition, publication of exhibition book, and subsequent display on the Center’s website of exhibitions. Artists grant the use of their images as stated without further contact or compensation from the Center. Artist’s recognition is provided with any use.
• Entry fee: $35 for the first 5 images, $10 each additional.
• Entry deadline: 24th January 2011
• Who can enter: Open to all women, worldwide.

This International Call for Entry invites women from around the world to submit photographs that demonstrate a smart, critical take on women with cameras in this day of a more open and subtle notion of gendered identity. Submissions are only limited by your imagination and may cover a broad range of challenging, personal, emotional, and political issues facing women today. Their work-life, home, family, friends, relationships, life partners, homosexual, heterosexual, politics, equal rights, stereotypes, causes, roles and wishes.

• First Place – $400
• Second Place – $300
• Third Place – $200
• Honorable Mentions(3) – $100

Submit your work via the online Smarter Entry System.

• sRGB or RGB color space (standard) – NOT CMYK (typically used by printing industry)
• Save files to 72 ppi resolution; flatten layers, 8 bit JPEG files (16 bit will not upload.)
• Sized to 1,280 pixels on the longest side, the other size width or height proportional
• JPG format, compression level 8 (medium). Compression level will not affect the quality of viewed images.
