FinishedIAMAT is guided by the philosophy that international travel can improve cultural understanding. To celebrate our 50th Anniversary, send us photos of new or old friends encountered during travel or any photos representing activities done with your friends abroad.

Prizes:

  • Grand Prize – the entry published on IAMAT’s website and added to IAMAT’s Flickr and Facebook pages.
  • The First Prize – a $100 Gift Certificate from Mountain Equipment Co-op Outdoor Gear and Clothing.
  • The Second Prize – a $75 Gift Certificate from Magellan’s Travel Supplies
  • The Third Prize – a $50 voucher for Frommer’s Travel Guides.

Each entry will be added to IAMAT’s Flickr and Facebook pages and will be considered for inclusion on IAMAT’s website. Send in a maximum of two (2) photos representing friendships from around the world. All entries must be travel related. Images must be submitted as digital files through the upload feature we’ve provided. Images must be digital files saved as the highest quality JPEG’s or TIFF’s, in RGB color mode, 4 inches by 6 inches at 300 dpi. File size must not exceed 900kb. The image must be identified with the entrant’s name and shot location in the format: firstinitial_lastname-destination.jpg (eg: a_jones-paris.jpg). Any image left unnamed or mislabeled will be disqualified; must be a genuine photographic image that is recognizable and not a completely created image. Digital retouching is allowed though restricted to color correction and cropping. Digitally manipulated images will be disqualified. Images need not be originally digital, but must fulfill the above requirements for consideration.
