April theme: portrait photography
Capturing the perfect portrait Photograph is a skill that many photographers aspire to as a way of capturing emotions, nuances, peculiarities, candour and personalities.Submit your portraits of politicians, sportsmen, entertainers and by enlarge people that you would like to showcase and tell their stories.
Prizes:
- First Place: the opportunity to turn your photojournalism into a beautiful coffee-table book. Blurb bookstore-quality book or books, up to the value of £50.
- Second Place will receive 60 postcards of their best work, beautifully printed onto glossy stock.
There are no restrictions on how often you can enter nor when the story was taken. Upload your photos as normal but remember to tag them as “Portrait competition”. Every tagged portrait photo uploaded in April will be considered for the monthly prizes.
