• Copyright: All entrants retain the copyright of any of their images which are entered. Use of awarded photographs and photographer names and any associated data, text or metadata is permitted by International Garden Photographer of the Year, or any of its partners, sponsors or exhibition hosts only to promote the competition and to show exhibitions. (Note that a book, posters, cards, or a calendar are seen as legitimate ways of promoting the contest and defraying costs).

Your image goes on tour in the travelling exhibition – whether physical or virtual.

Online submission of digital images via the website. Entrants may submit a maximum of 4 images per single entry token and a maximum of 6 images per portfolio entry token.

Image requirements: .jpg or .jpeg format and 1920px on their longest side at 72 ppi. All entrants must be able to supply a high-res image (300dpi) suitable for printing/exhibiting should the image be shortlisted.
