• Copyright: ROSL recognises You, the author of the image, retain full ownership of the copyright in each Entry. All Entrants understand that any image submitted to the Competition may be used by ROSL for marketing and promotional purposes of You the author and the Royal Over-Seas League only. You hereby grant ROSL a non-exclusive, irrevocable licence in each Entry throughout the world, in all media for any use connected to the promotion of You the author and the Royal Over-Seas League

Images are to capture contemporary culture in the Commonwealth.

Prizes:

• Camera winner will receive £2,000, a trip to the clubhouse exhibition opening, a day of professional tutoring and their winning image will be published in the Overseas magazine.
• Mobile Phone winner will receive £1,000 and their winning image will be published in the Overseas magazine.
• Young Photographer winner will receive £500 as part of ‘The Madiha Aijaz prize for a young photographer of promise’ which will be chosen solely by judge Farah Mahbub in memory of her colleague and friend.
• Top 20 images will be displayed in the Over-Seas House Exhibition.

The competition requires a minimum of 1 image per person and can only accept a maximum of 5 images per person

• All images must be saved in the CMYK colour model and EXIF data must be left in the image file.
• All entries across both categories should be a ratio of 4:3 or 3:2
• All entrants must be able to supply a high resolution image suitable for printing in media and an exhibition should the image be required, 300 dpi
