Categories:
1. People: Portraits and photos of older people in groups or alone that convey a positive view of age.
2. Looks. Events, objects or activities that connect the reality of older people with the enjoyment of cultural and natural heritage. They must be photographs that give us an idea of what it means to live actively the elderly.
3. Iberian Looks. Events, objects or activities that connect the reality of the elderly with the enjoyment of the cultural and natural heritage of Spain and Portugal. They must be photographs that give us an idea of what it means to live actively, the elderly, in Spain and Portugal.
4. Looks at the line: Events, objects or activities that connect the reality of older people with the enjoyment of the cross-border territory1 of Spain and Portugal. They must be photographs that give us an idea of what it means to live actively the elderly.
5. Altered images: Photographs manipulated for artistic purposes through the application of digital and/or traditional special effects (i.e., coloring, toning, collage, photographic composites, HDR, etc.)..
6. Mobile: Any photograph taken with a mobile device (phone or tablet).
Online submission of digital photographs via the website. Up to 5 photographs can be submitted per category for a total of 30 entries.
Image requirements: jpg format at 72ppp, in sRGB color space, of at least 2,000 pixels on its largest side and no heavier than 5 MB. Finalists may be asked to submit an original, unedited digital file, or an original negative, printed, or slide.
Judging criteria: creativity, quality, originality and responsiveness to rapid and overall impact.
