• Copyright: Entrants grant Bird in Flight an irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, transferable right and royalty free license to reproduce and otherwise use and reuse photographs of Entrants in any language wholly or partly, including but not limited to use of such photographs on any exhibitions, provided that Bird in Flight shall be under no obligation to use any of the rights and licenses granted herein.

• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide, 18+

• First Prize is 2,000 euros
• Panasonic Readers’ Choice Award – Panasonic Lumix GX9 camera.

The concept of the Bird in Flight Prize is to support photographers who think outside the box of traditional artistic standards. Our contest is not about photoprojects that cater to the existing general demand. It’s about discovering new ways to tell a story using the means and tools of photography. We encourage artistic freedom and diversity therefore we don’t impose time constraints upon our participants. We do not limit them in their choices of subjects and creativity methods. We also allow image editing as well as the usage of other images [as long as the copyrights are being observed].

The winners will be announced and the award ceremony will be held on the 11 Oct, 2019

You can enter photoseries of 5-12 photographs only. Online submission of digital photographs via the website.

Image requirements: up to 5 megabytes in size, .jpg or .png24 format
