Photocompete

• Copyright: The organizers reserves the right to publish the winning and commended images in its magazine, in the photographic book, on the web site, or in possible promotional folders and calendars or to display them in photographic exposition, concerning the competition and, if the organizers deem it necessary, mentioning the author’s name of the images.

• Entry deadline: 31st March 2019
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide.

The photographers may participate with images of 6 BIOMES:

1. TEMPERATE, BOREAL AND TROPICAL FORESTS;
2. RIVERS, LAKES AND LAGOONS;
3. DESERTS, ROCKS AND SCREES;
4. PRAIRIES, STEPPES AND SAVANNAH;
5. SEAS, OCEANS AND COASTLINES
6. GLACIERS, POLARS CAPS AND TUNDRA.

CATEGORIES:

1. Landscapes,
2. Mammals
3. Birds;
4. Other animals;
5. Plants, flowers;
6. Abstractions, colours and particular lights.

For each biome you can enter a maximum of 10 images and each category can contain a maximum of 5 images.

Image requirements: if submit online – longest side of each image must be 1920 pixels. Up to 3 MB in file size.

Photos of domestic animals are not eligible, and also cultivated plants, sandwich photos and digitally adulterated images. Images of animals in captivity are not allowed.
