Photocompete

• Copyright: Entrants will retain copyright in the photographs that they submit to BucksVision. By entering the competition all entrants grant to BucksVision the right to publish and exhibit their photographs on their website in perpetuity. Entrants whose photographs are one of the final 12, also agree to take part in post – competition publicity.
• Entry fee: £2.50 per photo
• Entry deadline: 28th April 2019
• Who can enter: open to amateur photographers of any age.

Prizes:

• 1st Prize – £150
• 2nd Prize – £75
• 3rd Prize – £50
• 4th Prize – £25
• The twelve photos selected by the judges will appear in the BucksVision Calendar for 2020 with all proceeds raised from the entries and the sales of the calendar going to BucksVision.

Theme: Buckinghamshire throughout the seasons

The theme is open to your personal interpretation but we’re looking for beautiful photographs that show off the Buckinghamshire countryside and iconic views throughout the county to show it in all its true glory, throughout the seasons.

Judging criteria:

•  Composition
•  Technical ability
•  Originality
•  Public appeal
•  Suitability for inclusion into the BucksVision calendar

Entrants can submit up to five photos in total as prints, in colour or black and white. Prints must be at least as large as a standard postcard. Electronic copies of the photographs in high resolution will be needed for the 12 successful photographs.
