• Copyright: The copyright will, at all times, be respected by TPOTY and retained by the photographer. Where an image or images are reproduced by TPOTY, the photographer will be credited. The organisers and sponsors reserve the right to free reproduction and exhibition of entered images in all media, but only in connection with these awards.
• Entry fee: £15 for each portfolio category and New Talent. £8 per entry for One Shot and Smart Shot, and Young TPOTY is free to enter.
• Entry deadline: 25th September 2017
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide.

The final results will be announced in December 2017.

A portfolio must comprise four images. Online submission of digital photographs via the website.

Image requirements: jpeg file format; no more than 800 pixels wide on their longest side. The maximum file size 1 Mb at an image resolution of 72dpi. If you are shortlisted for the final judging rounds later this year, you will then be required to submit prints, plus higher-resolution files of your shortlisted images and the raw/original files.
