• Copyright: The photographer retains the copyright to all their entries into the Environmental Photographer of the Year. By entering the Competition, you grant CIWEM a non-exclusive licence to reproduce, publish and communicate your entry to the public by exhibiting your entry through all media throughout the world in relation to the Environmental Photographer of the Year.
• Entry fee: Free
• Entry deadline: 8th September 2017
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide.

Prizes:

• Environmental Photographer of the Year: £3000
• Changing Climate Prize: £1000, plus showcase of portfolio in one issue of The Environment Magazine
• Built Environment Prize: £500, plus showcase of portfolio in one issue of The Environment Magazine
• Mobile Phone Prize : £500, plus showcase of portfolio in one issue of The Environment Magazine
• Young Environmental Photographer of the Year (Under 16): An Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II camera

Each entrant may enter up to 10 still photographs. Online submission of digital photographs via the website.

Image requirements: JPEGs, saved at a high quality level with a maximum file size of 0.5MB. If shortlisted, entrants must be able to supply images as RAW files or original JPEGs.
