• Copyright: Submitted images may appear on our website and on a variety of social media sites as part of the promotion of this competition.
• Entry fee: Free
• Entry deadline: 30th September 2016
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide. Images must have been taken anywhere in the British Isles.

We invite you to send us photos which illustrate the seasons – perhaps a seasonal landscape – or an animal or bird in a seasonal setting. The image must demonstrate the seasons for it to be considered.

Prizes:

• £200 for the winner
• £50 each for three runners-up

Judging criteria: originality, technical ability, composition, overall impact and artistic merit.

A maximum of two entries per person. Images must not include pets, animals kept in zoos or at game farms. Online submission of digital photographs by email.

Image requirements: at least 1Mb in size in JPEG format.
