• Copyright: Participants grant the M&C Group, and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and its and their advertising and promotion agencies, and those acting pursuant to their authority, a non-exclusive, revocable (except in respect of the Winner’s Entry for which the Winner grants an irrevocable licence), royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual licence to print, publish, broadcast, and use the Entry, whether in whole or in part, composite, derivative or distorted or used in conjunction with other materials, submitted by Participant in connection with the Contest for marketing purposes related to M&C, as well as the Participant’s name, portrait, picture, likeness, voice, statements attributable to him/her, city and state of residence, and other biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes throughout the world in any and all media and in any form now known or existing at any time in the future, without further approval, notification, or compensation.

In this photography competition, we aim to celebrate our passion for how diverse and beautiful Britain is. With 21 hotels across the UK, we’re passionate about constantly discovering new and interesting sides of this vibrant country, which is why we want to give photographers a chance to showcase their beautiful Britain. We’re keen to both nurture photography talent and to recognise the eclectic and personal nature of what the UK means to the people that live in it.

The regions of Britain for which Entries may be categorised are: East Midlands, West Midlands, Yorkshire & the Humber, South East, South West, London, North West, North East, East of England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland.

Prizes:

• The Winner will receive their choice of either a Canon or Nikon full frame or high resolution DSLR and accompanying camera kit (retail value of up to GBP£5,000 including all applicable taxes).

Each Participant may submit a total of three Entries during the course of the Contest Period. Online submission of digital photographs via the website.

Image requirements: JPG or PNG format.

Judging criteria:

• adherence to the brief of “What Makes Britain Beautiful?”;
• originality;
• technical ability; and
• quality of the image, and allocate it a mark out of 100.
