Photocompete

• Copyright: Each artist retains all copyrights to their own images. Artists whose submissions are chosen for the exhibition grant The Center for Fine Art Photography the right to use their images for the purpose of promoting exhibitions, promoting the Center’s programs, promoting the artist and subsequent display
• Entry fee: $38 for the first five images; $10 for each additional image
• Entry deadline: 24th February 2016
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers worldwide.

Theme: Night

Darkness penetrated by glowing light, night stars, illuminated landscapes, city scenes, empty streets and packed pubs, natural wonders, night-lights, deep shadows and all the wonders and distress that darkness can bring.  All capture types and photographic processes welcome.

Prizes:

• Juror’s Selection: $400.00
• Director’s Selection: $200.00
• Two LiveBooks Website Awards: Valued at $399 from liveBooks
• Honorable Mention Awards: 2-year membership and image submission to a Call for Entry at C4FAP.

Artist Notification – March 8 2016

Image requirements: Resolution 72 ppi and 1280 pixels on the longest side; Flattened JPG files; 8 bit files; RGB or Grayscale; JPG compression quality 8 or medium

Online submission of digital photographs via the website. There is no limit to the number of images that may be submitted. Selected artists will need to submit prints for the exhibition.
