Golden Orchid Photography Award 2015
Any type of photography is accepted – commissioned or un-commissioned, whether it’s for advertising, editorial, landscape, fashion, or anything else.
Awards:
- Grand Prize
One prize will be awarded. The winner will receive an award certificate, and the opportunity to show his or her portfolio on the Golden Orchid International Art Festival Website and the exhibitions in Penn State University and New York. - 1st Place
One award will be selected. The winner will receive an award certificate, and the opportunity to show his or her portfolio on the Golden Orchid International Art Festival Website and the exhibitions in Penn State University and New York. - 2nd Place
Five awards will be selected. The winners will receive an award certificate, and the opportunity to show his or her portfolio on the Golden Orchid International Art Festival Website and the exhibitions in Penn State University and New York. - 3rd Place
Ten awards will be selected. The winners will receive an award certificate, and the opportunity to show his or her portfolio on the Golden Orchid International Art Festival Website and the exhibitions in Penn State University and New York. - Special Merit – Young Asian Photographer Award
- Special Merit – Young Latino Photographer Award
Singe image entry and image series entry are both allowed. One photographer could submit up to 5 single image entries or one series entry. A series entry consists of at least 2 and no more than 5 photographs, sharing a common theme or concept and a single title. Series will be judged as whole. Individual images within the same series could share a series name. Online submission of digital photographs via the website.
Image requirements: 1920 Pixels in the long edge and saved as Jpegs (.jpg), in RGB format and not exceed 4MB per file, at 72dpi. High-resolution image will be required if the work is selected into the finalist.
