The Museum of Flight is once again accepting submissions for its annual Spirit of Flight juried photography exhibition, opens September 12 2015

Theme: “The Spirit of Flight”

As this call is for authentic photographs of the real world, please do not digitally enhance or alter your photographs beyond the basic corrections to achieve realistic color/grayscale balance, contrast and sharpness.

Awards:

• The 1st place winning photograph will be featured on The Museum of Flight’s website and Aloft magazine, and the photographer will receive a
• one-year family membership to the Museum.
• The 2nd place winner will be featured in Aloft magazine and receive a one-year family membership.
• The third place winner will also be featured in Aloft magazine and receive a one-year single membership.
   

Photographs chosen for the exhibition must be professional prints, ready to hang. Any photograph selected for display must be delivered to the museum by August 21, 2015 and be available for the duration of the exhibition. Online submission of digital photographs via the website. Each photographer may submit up to six entries – a maximum of three entries by a single photographer will be juried into the exhibition.

Image requirements: Up to 2mb in file size; if selected, the final print(s) should be made from high resolution images sufficient to appear clear at a printed size not exceeding 18 x 24 inches.
