• Copyright: Artists grant 1650 gallery the right to use accepted photographs to promote the exhibition, for display on the 1650 Gallery website and for inclusion in an exhibit catalog. The artist's name and photo title will be included in the exhibition, and wherever the work is displayed.
• Entry fee: $30 for up to 5 images
• Entry deadline: 11th January 2015
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide, 18+

1650 Gallery is now accepting submissions for the juried exhibition: A WINTER’S TALE. This month, as winter continues to bear down, 1650 Gallery welcomes your artistic take on A Winter’s Tale Photography. Whether it’s icicles hanging from the garage or icebergs in Antarctica, snow covered mountains or snowballs in the face, sun on the snow or a snow-covered Buick… 1650 wants images of your world of winter!

The haunting and ethereal beauty of snow and ice is a rite of passage and a grand artistic test for photographers. It challenges their skill in judging exposure and contrast, and it tests their prowess in printing a palette of gleaming whites that dazzles the senses. Those who dare to meet the challenges of the harsh winter elements can be rewarded with one-of-a-kind photographs that are unique and breathlessly beautiful.

AWARDS:

• Best In Show, 2nd Place and 3rd Place will be awarded and posted online after the show opening.
• Award winning photos will be featured on the show page and Best In Show winners will have a small portfolio of their work (up to 10 images) featured in our 1650 Spotlight gallery of photographic excellence.

Image requirements: JPG format; 72 ppi, image width up to 1024 pixels on the longest side.
