• Copyright: Copyright in the images remains the property of the photographer. The entrants consent to Head On reproducing the entrant's image(s) at no charge in all publicity and promotion of the exhibition and Head On Photo Festival inclusive of all electronic or print media at the discretion of the organisers, to be included in the exhibition catalogue(s), limited edition postcards, and to be posted on Head On website.

• As a Head On first, the exhibition is expected to travel to the Auckland Festival of Photography, the Pingyao International  Photography Festival (China) and finally to Photoville (New York City) for the international debut of the Head On Portrait Prize.

The finalists will be advised by phone and/or email by Monday 31 March 2014.

Each entrant may submit up to three images. Online submission of digital photographs via the website. Finalists will be required to upload a high resolution file

Image requirements: JPG format; 2400 pixels on the widest side (72dpi); Adobe RGB 1998 colour space; compression level 8
