Photocompete

• Copyright: Entrants will retain copyright in the photographs that they submit to LWEC and will be credited when used and grant LWEC permission to use their photographs
• Entry fee: Free
• Entry deadline: 30th April 2014
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide.

1. Disease transmitted by vectors (mosquitoes, ticks)
2. Warmer winters
3. Warmer summers
4. Flooding
5. Environmental quality/pollution (contamination of soil, water)
6. Food safety
7. Outdoor air quality
8. Impacts on health and social systems
9. Social and health inequalities
10. Long term impacts on human populations (ecosystem services, food production, sea level rise etc.)

Prizes:

• 1^st £200 in Jessops photographic or John Lewis gift vouchers
• 2^nd £100 in Jessops photographic or John Lewis gift vouchers
• 3^rd £50 in Jessops photographic or John Lewis gift vouchers

Prize winners will be informed by email by May 31^st 2014

Entrants can submit up to five digital colour photographs.

Image requirements:  JPEG format; at least 1,600 pixels on the longest dimension; up to 20 Mb in file size. Digital manipulation of photographs is to be kept to a minimum
