• Copyright: United Photo Industries and the University of Cambridge have the right to use the entry for publication on the web and in exhibitions and promotions directly relating to the "Secrets & Lies" contest. Copyright over all submissions remains the property of their respective entrants.
• Entry fee: $35 per 8 images
• Entry deadline: 12th January 2014
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide, 18+ years of age

Theme: "Secrets & Lies"

Submit photographs that address, respond, criticize, or challenge the new realities of this public/private interphase and everyday strategies in the face of the dangers and pitfalls it represents.

Exhibitions:

• 45 winning images will be selected and presented in an exhibition at the University of Cambridge starting in February 2014.
• A second exhibition of the winning images will take place at Photoville in Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn, New York.

Photographers may submit up to 8 images per entry. Judging criteria: creativity, photographic quality and effectiveness in expressing the contest theme. Online submission of digital photographs via the website.

Image requirements: JPEG format; at least 1,600 pixels on its long dimension
