- Category A – Garden birds
- Category B – Taking flight and landing
- Category C – The bird facing the elements (wind, rain…)
- Category D – Courtship displays and matings
- Category E – Artistic vision of the bird (black and white accepted)
- Category F – Meetings (interaction between at least 2 species but including one bird)
Prizes:
- Grand Prix to the overall winner awarded with a sum of € 1 500.
- First Prize in each category awarded with a sum of € 800.
- Public Prize awarded to the picture which has totalized the more votes from the visitors of the exhibition endowed by the Festival’s partners
A maximum of 10 photographs can be entered by each entrant. The winners will be requested to send high resolution images. Online submission of digital photos via the website.
Image requirements: JPEG format and 3:2 ratio. The image must be uploaded in the size adapted for a printing of 20 x 30 cm, that is 3500 pixels on the longest dimension
