• Copyright: You retain rights to your photograph(s). All entrants grant an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide non-exclusive license to Our State magazine and it’s Authorized Parties, to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of the entries (along with a name credit) in connection with the contest and promotion of the contest, in any media

• Entry deadline: 31st October 2013
• Who can enter: Open to amateur photographers who are 18+ years of age

Prizes:

• Winner – $250 cash
• Judges will choose a first and a second place winner from each category at the end of the contest to win a prize. Specific prize to be determined, but will not exceed $75 in value.

Winners will be announced after November 11, 2013

You may enter up to five photographs in the contest. Online submission of digital photos via the website.

Judging criteria: originality, technical excellence, overall impact, and artistic merit.

Image requirements: Only minor burning, dodging, and/or color correction is acceptable, as is cropping. High dynamic range (HDR images) and stitched panoramas are NOT acceptable.
