Theme: Portraiture

This exhibition will examine contemporary portraiture photography. Pose and Gesture, Image and Identity, Constructed Narrative, Self Portrait, Environmental, Vernacular and Snapshot, Fashion and Nude, all have visual arguments to make in the world of portraiture photography. What are the character, attitude and expression that bind this genre together?

Award:

• 20 photographers will be selected for the Exhibition in Black Box Gallery, Portland Oregon  (February 1-22, 2013)
• Black Box will provide all framing, matting and printing for our exhibitions.

One entry may consist of up to 5 photos. Submission of digital images by email: [email protected]

Image requirements: Jpeg format; 1024 pixels on the longest side at 72 DPI, 2MB or less each (saved). The photographers who are selected into the exhibition will provide a high resolution Tiff file for our gallery to print for the exhibition.
