• Copyright: Copyright of entered photos remains with the photographer in its entirety. The entrant grants WEXAS non-exclusive rights to free reproduction of photographs entered for up to three years, on the condition reproductions acknowledge the photographer and their association with the Photography Competition.

• Who can enter: Open to amateur photographers aged 18 or over only, worldwide

Prizes:

• First Prize (valued at £7,000) – 10 days discovering the highlights of South Africa, including Cape Town, the Winelands, Garden Route and the game-rich safari parks of the Eastern Cape.
• Runner-up Prize is a Canon EOS 650D DSLR camera with double lens kit
• The winner and runner-up will have their photographs published in Traveller magazine. They will also receive a one year free membership to the Royal Photographic Society and its Natural History special interest group.

The winner and runner-up will be notified by 15 January 2013.

You can enter a maximum of three photographs and photos must be of wildlife taken outside of the UK. Online submission of digital photos via the website.

The winner will be selected by a judging panel made up of photographer and TV presenters Jonathan and Angie Scott, The Royal Photographic Society and Duncan Mills, Deputy Editor of Traveller magazine.

Image requirements: jpg, png or gif format and less than 10 Mb in file size.
