• Copyright: Entrants will retain copyright in the photographs that they submit to Blenheim Palace and grant to Blenheim Palace the right to publish and exhibit their photographs on Blenheim Palace and Studio8’s websites and any other associated promotional and marketing material.
• Entry fee: Free
• Entry deadline: 30th August 2012
• Who can enter: Open to all non-professional photographers worldwide.

Theme: "What Makes Britain Great’"

Submit your photographs that capture everything that is ‘great’ about Britain. They can include: British people, British places, British events, British landmarks, anything that captures the spirit of this great nation can be entered into this years competition.

Prizes:

• The winner will receive an iPad 16gb model plus a One on One Photography Course at Studio8, a Blenheim Palace Annual Pass and ‘goodie bag’.
• 5 Finalists photographs shall appear on the Blenheim Palace Website.
• 15 Runnersup will receive a Blenheim Palace Annual Pass and a Blenheim Palace ‘goodie bag’ including vouchers from Studio8.

Entries must be taken within Great Britain. You can submit only one image. Online submission of digital images via Facebook.

Judging criteria:

• composition
• technical ability
• originality
• interpretation of the brief
• the commercial appeal of the photographs
