Theme: Portrait Photography

This exhibition will examine contemporary portraiture photography. Photographic portraiture often displays the expression, personality and mood of the subject. Pose and Gesture, Image and Identity, Constructed Narrative, Self Portrait, Environmental, Persona, Documentary, Vernacular and Snapshot, Fashion and Nude, all have visual arguments to make in the world of portraiture photography.

Award:

• 20 photographers will be slected for this exhibition in Black Box Gallery, Portland Oregon  (June 1-22, 2012)
• Black Box will provide all framing, matting and printing for our exhibitions.

You may submit up to five images. Email them to: [email protected]  with email title: "Portrait: Mirror Mirror"

Image requirements: Jpeg format, 1024 pixels on the longest side at 72 DPI, 2MB or less each (saved). The photographers who are selected into the exhibition will provide a high resolution Tiff file for our gallery to print for the exhibition.
