• Copyright: You will maintain copyright ownership of your entry. If you are a finalist you will allow us to post your entry publicly on our website for our People' Choice voting and Eco Arts Awards will use your image to promote you and the competition in as much media, traditional and social as is possible.
• Entry fee: $20 till 31 May, after that $30
• Entry deadline: 15th August 2012
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers worldwide.

Categories:

• Personal Vision (this includes a fine art approach and manipulated images will be accepted)
• Documentary/Journalism
• Multiple image entries that tell a story are being excepted this year in our Fine Arts category as an installation piece.

Prizes:

• The First Place ‘Juried’ Winner will receive $1,000
• These are the sponsor’s offering prizes to our 2012 Grand Prize winner, 2nd & 3rd place Juried winners and People’s Choice winners.

Judging criteria:

• Thematic impact (and relevance to ecological issues)
• Originality and artistry of expression, style, elements of the media and imagery
• Technique (composition, artistic language and skills)

Image requirements: JPEG format; RGB color profile; a maximum of   1024 pixels wide x 768 pixels high and or 72 dpi.
