Photocompete

• Copyright: The Philadelphia Museum of Art shall have the perpetual right to display accepted works and to reproduce accepted works for educational and promotional purposes in both printed and electronic form.
• Entry fee: $45
• Entry deadline: 4th May 2012
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers who are 18+ years of age, worldwide.

Awards:

• Each winning photographer will be awarded $1,000 and a 2012 Photography Portfolio.
• The curator’s choice photographer will receive $500 and an individual print.
• Winning photographs will be exhibited at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in fall 2012.

Jurors: photographer Andrea Modica, photography critic Vince Aletti, and Peter Barberie.

Artists whose work has been selected will be notified on or about July 31, 2012.

Each applicant must submit 10-15 images that represent original work created no earlier than January 1, 2010. Only one entry per person. Online submission of digital images.

Image requirements: JPG format; ized no larger than 1220px @ 72 dpi.
