Photocompete

• Copyright: Artists whose submissions are chosen for the exhibition grant the Organizers the right to use their images for the purpose of marketing the exhibition, marketing the Center's programs and subsequent display on the Center's website of past exhibitions.
• Entry fee: $35 for the first three images, $10 each additional image.
• Entry deadline: 11th October 2011
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers worldwide.

Theme: A visual representation that portrays the likeness of a person, animal, place or thing.

Awards:

• Juror’s Selection: $600
• Director’s Selection: $250
• 2 liveBooks Website Awards: Valued at $399 from liveBooks.com
• 1 Blurb Book Award: Valued at $250 from blurb.com
• Honorable Mention Awards: 2 year membership and a three image submission to a call for entry at the Center.

Selected artists will be notified by Oct 21. Exhibition dates: Jan 13 – Feb 25, 2012

There is no limit to the number of images that may be submitted.

Image requirements: 
• Resolution 72 ppi and 1280 pixels on the longest side
• Flattened JPG files
• 8 bit files
• Images must be in RGB or Grayscale
• Use JPG compression quality 8 or medium
