• Copyright: Submitted images may be used for promoting ‘Wira Foto Fest’ 2011 in all media formats. All rights to the pictures will stay with the owner.
• Entry fee: US$10 per one submitted photograph
• Entry deadline: 15th August 2011
• Who can enter: Open to citizens of following countries in Asia: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Georgia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste (East Timor), Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Yemen.

Over 1,000 photographs will be exhibited in an outdoor environment throughout the parks of Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur (September 15th – 25th, 2011).

• All category winners:
  • Professional photography equipment worth 10.000 USD.
• All category’s 2nd to 5th winners:
  • Free participation in a one-day workshop with a professional during the Festival. 
• All category’s 6th to 10th winners:
  • Free ticket to one of the international lectures.

Selected artists will be annouced on August 22nd 2011.

There is no limit in the number of images you may submit.

Image requirements: max 1000 pixel on the long side with a resolution of 72 dpi; JPEG format in RGB colour space.
