Photocompete

• Copyright: You retain your rights to your photo and grant Snowden the right to publish your submitted photo for promotion of the competition. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit line.

• Who can enter: Open to all amateur photographers from around the globe who are 18+ years old.

Try to capture the diversity and beauty that is part of the mining industry.

Prizes:

• Overall winner: Aus$10,000
• Category winners will get from Aus$1,000 to Aus$3,000

You can submit online or send your photos by post. Image requirements: JPG or TIFF format, minumum file size 3Mb, 300dpi resolution at an A4 size (30cm x 21cm). Only basic post processing is allowed, no manipulation, multiple image photo. No date stamp.

The entrant may submit a maximum of three photographs.

Judging criteria:

• artistic and visual appeal
• the extent to which the photograph captures the theme of the competition
