Enter spectacular photos of wildflowers from macro to landscapes. These images may show native wildflowers in any season on the roadside, in the garden, water, nature reserve or in the wild. Do not include photographs of houseplants. Plants photographed in public botanic gardens or research facilities are acceptable.

- First place winners in each category: $100 plus a family membership to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.

Acceptable photo editing includes adjustments to color, contrast, brightness and sharpness; removal of dust and scratches; cropping; and use of HDR, where multiple exposures of the same scene are combined for a greater tonal range. Winners will be notified in Oct 2011.
